Locals from Seymour and surrounds will embark on a world of pure imagination by putting on Broadway and West End musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The musical, based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl with a shared title, features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by both Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
SPW is on the lookout for actors to play globally renowned characters such as Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Veruca Salt, August Gloop and Violet Beauregarde.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, February 2 at the Les Bell Pavilion in Kings Park for those interested in bringing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life in Seymour.
SPW is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse creative environment, welcoming all auditionees of any race, ethnicity, religion, colour, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation or disability, as well as children aged 10 and up.
The production will be held at the Seymour College Arts Centre on May 10, 11, 17 and 18 at varying times.
