A $10 entry fee will include access to the Living Heritage Complex for the Anzac Day weekend celebration, which will be staged from 9am until 4pm on both days.
The 25th anniversary of the event will be staged by the Lockington and District Living Heritage Complex committee.
Regular features, such as the Scarecrow Competition, the vintage and steam engines display, along with a range of unique farming machinery and tractors, will be part of the attraction.
Secretary Beryl Marshall said the event would be held at the corner of Pannoo Rd and Market St in Lockington.
An interesting addition to the regular programming for the event is a Garden Art Display, where participants will be asked to use materials 25 years or older to create their artistic pieces.
Mrs Marshall said the creators of the art pieces did not need to be over 25 years of age.
Trucks, cars and motorcycles will also form a significant part of the display, with collectables on offer as the town also joins in the celebratory weekend.
There will be a number of garage sales happening during the weekend and a separate art show, with the organisation gaining the support of Campaspe Shire and Bendigo Bank to stage its event.
A show ‘n’ shine event is being staged from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, with more information available from Lindsay Govett (general inquiries, 0419 527 661), Mrs Marshall (stall holders, 0428 862 353) or for camping contact the Travellers Rest on 0447 787 581.
