Senior citizens
We are back.
Our first activity for the year was the ladies straight bowls.
It was an almost full attendance and so joyful the game was less important than getting together.
Due to some illnesses, cards have not resumed.
Carpet bowls only attracted eight players who all decided to have practice games only to perfect some difficult bowling.
Helen ‘Annie Oakley’ Meyers achieved some incredible moves not likely to be attempted during a serious match.
Everyone enjoyed the session, which provided much hilarity.
Our club is manning a stall at the Rotary Market at Kings Park on Australia Day.
We hope to encourage new membership.
Best wishes go out to those members who are unwell and we wish them a speedy recovery.
We are having our first general meeting on Monday, February 7, at 2pm.
